I was attracted by the good looks - they really are a handsome pair of shoes. However, they did not last long. Throughout the school year they had to be taken to the shoemaker twice to sew up the stitching at the toe area - they kept opening up. While these would be great for occasional wear e.g. dress up or church, they do not make a practical everyday shoe for a boy.
